Interview

On the 14th April, 2008, Siobhan Connors decided to interview me. Here it is:

Hey Chloe, ready for your interview~?
Yes. Shoot.

So you recently moved from the UK to New Zealand... What is your favorite thing about where you live now, and is there anything you really miss?
My favourite thing is probably the freedom I have here. Haha, it's kind of hard to explain but everywhere is close together and so I can walk to my friend's houses if I really wanted to. I can walk pretty much anywhere, and so I don't have to rely on my parents and such. Plans are more spontaneous. I just get out more here than I did in England. I really miss all of my friends... and the food. They don't have the same food here. It's sad. :(

Haha, what foods do you miss the most?
Pot Noodles. Crisps.

What are some of your favorite things to do in your free time other than web design?
I love horseriding, though I don't get to do it often nowadays. I also enjoy spending time with my friends, writing, reading, shopping, listening to music and playing video games.

what are some of your favorite video games?
Aah, so many. I have a DS which I love to pieces so most of my games are for my DS... I love The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Professor Layton and the Curious Village, Zoo Keeper, and, of course, Pokemon! My sister also has a PS3 so I go on that sometimes, but she's rather protective of it so I have to be careful ahaha. I like playing Assassins Creed on the PS3.

Awesome, I love Pokemon too B) As you know. Anyway, a bit of a more serious question. What direction do you see your life taking career-wise? Or what direction do you hope it will take?
I hope that my life will go in the direction of science, because I have a huge interest in it, especially medical science. At the moment I want to be a neuropathologist because the brain just intrigues me so much. It'll be difficult to get where I want to be, though, so I'll have to work hard! :P Psychology interests me too, and I'd love to do something like that. I also hope that I'll continue writing throughout my career, or at least continue to hold an interest in it.

That's really cool. Is there anything in particular that really sparked your interest in those fields? Maybe a class, or a teacher, or a book?
Hmm, I don't know. My mum is involved in medicine (more the teaching aspect of it), so I guess shes been there to feed my curiosity. I've always held an interest in the human body and science though, ever since I was young. I don't really think there's been anything in particular that sparked the interest, it's always been there, as long as I can remember.

So what sort of movies and music do you enjoy? Have any current favorites or new discoveries?
I love ALL sorts of music. My current favourite would have to be "Untouched" by The Veronicas. It's stuck on repeat ahaha. I also love Shiny Toy Guns, The Shins, Counting Crows, Tokio Hotel... Death Cab For Cutie are a big favourite. Film-wise, I like psycho-thrillers, such as The Butterfly Effect, Donnie Darko, etc. Donnie Darko is one of my favourite films. I also like dramas such as Crashed (another favourite), and comedies like Superbad (again, another favourite). Cartoons are also great, like Disney ones. Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron is one of my all-time favourite films from when I was younger, as is Aristrocats.

I loved Aristocats too! :D So, how goes your love life?
Pretty non-existant. Few crushes here and there, you know, the regular deal.

Well that's good to know, Chloe. Makes seducing you all the more simple! ;) Thanks for the interview!
Bye!
